James Gunn introduced «CREATURE COMMANDOS» before he headed DC
Follows a group of military superhumans consisting of a human leader, a werewolf, a vampire, Frankenstein’s monster and a gorgon. Gunn then green-lighted the project himself when he became CEO of DC Studios. Screenwriter and series creator James Gunn appears in the opening credits with a laptop typing the script. .

are promising and long-awaited
The story makes you care about the characters, and the animation is top notch. Speaking of animation, the new Tomorrow-verse animation looked very cheap and flat, with no life to the animation style or stories. The DC AU of such remarkable stories as «Under the Red Hood», «Justice League: Dark» and «Superman: Doomsday» has set the standard for quality comic book animation. I collected all the animated films of that time and I was not interested in the Tomorrow-verse because of the lazy writing and lazy animation art.
The art style is fun, bright and well drawn
But Creature Commandos is a return to the form of quality animation. I already care about the characters, and the story is interesting. James Gunn is starting this universe off right and making his upcoming projects highly anticipated. The new Superman movie is definitely on my must-see list.

Back to the show, it only has 2 episodes, but there is anticipation and connection with the characters.. One Hundred Years of Loneliness is one of the loudest premieres on TV and streaming this month.
